NYPD Seeks Man In Anti-White Hate Crime on Grand Concourse

BRONX, NY – The NYPD is seeking public assistance to identify a suspect involved in a hate crime assault that occurred in the Bronx.

The incident took place on Friday, April 5, at approximately 1:18 PM at the intersection of 156 Street and Grand Concourse. A 24-year-old male victim was punched in the face by an unknown assailant who also made anti-white remarks. After the attack, the suspect fled southbound on 153rd Street. The victim received on-site medical treatment from EMS for facial pain and was later released.

The NYPD’s Hate Crimes Task Force has taken up the case. The suspect is described as a 40-year-old male with a medium complexion and heavy build, about 6’2″ tall. He was last observed wearing an orange jacket, black sweatpants, a blue and grey shirt, and black sneakers. Authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward to assist in the investigation.
