NYPD Seeks Public Help to Identify Suspects in Central Park Theft

NEW YORK, NY—The New York City Police Department is requesting public assistance to identify suspects involved in a grand larceny incident within the Central Park Precinct.

The incident was reported on Sunday at approximately 8:15 AM. A 37-year-old male victim stated that he placed his bag on a bench near 60 West Drive and walked away, during which four unidentified individuals took the unattended bag.

After taking the bag, the suspects made several unauthorized transactions with the victim’s credit and debit cards, amounting to over a thousand dollars.

They were last seen fleeing the scene on foot. No injuries were reported in the incident.
