According to police reports, an unidentified male entered the store and brandished a knife, threatening a 66-year-old male employee. The suspect demanded money, subsequently taking approximately $800 from the cash register, along with store merchandise and the victim’s phone. The suspect then fled on foot, heading northbound on 3rd Avenue. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.

The NYPD has released an image of the individual captured on surveillance footage and is urging anyone with information about the suspect or the incident to come forward. Authorities ask that tips be provided to the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS.
