NYPD Seeks Suspect After Man Stabbed During Dispute in Bronx

Police are searching for a suspect accused of stabbing a 27-year-old man in the arm following a verbal dispute near Valentin Avenue and East 187th Street in the Bronx.

Bronx, NY – The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect wanted in connection with a stabbing that left a 27-year-old man injured in the Bronx.

According to the NYPD, the assault occurred at approximately 7:26 p.m. Saturday at the northeast corner of Valentin Avenue and East 187th Street.

Argument escalated into stabbing

Investigators said the unidentified suspect approached the victim and initiated a verbal dispute. During the confrontation, the suspect allegedly displayed a knife and stabbed the 27-year-old man in the right arm.

The suspect fled the scene on foot, traveling southbound on Valentin Avenue. Police did not immediately release a description of the individual.

The victim’s condition was not released by authorities.
