BROOKLYN, N.Y. — The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying and locating a suspect wanted in connection with an armed robbery that took place in Brooklyn in August. The incident occurred on Wednesday, August 14, at approximately 2:40 p.m., inside the L Train Vintage boutique at 1325 Broadway, within the 83rd Precinct.

According to police, a 20-year-old store employee was involved in an argument with an unknown individual. During the confrontation, the suspect lifted his shirt to display a firearm. The suspect then left the store, taking a large quantity of clothing without paying, and fled the scene.

The store employee was not injured in the incident. The suspect’s whereabouts remain unknown.

Authorities are urging anyone with information regarding the suspect’s identity or location to contact the NYPD.
