NYPD Seeks Suspect in Armed Robbery in the Bronx

NEW YORK, July 28, 2024 — The New York City Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying an individual wanted in connection with an armed robbery incident that occurred in the Bronx on Tuesday, July 2, 2024.

According to police reports, the incident took place at approximately 5:00 p.m. inside a commercial establishment located at 1503 Westchester Avenue. A 20-year-old male victim was approached from behind by an unidentified male who demanded his property. Upon turning around, the victim observed a firearm in the suspect’s waistband.

The victim surrendered his cell phone, and the suspect fled the scene. The victim was not injured.

The suspect is described as approximately 6’1″ tall and was last seen wearing a white tank top and black shorts.
