NYPD seeks suspect in burglary of Brooklyn residence

NEW YORK CITY — The New York City Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect wanted in connection with a burglary in Brooklyn last month.

According to authorities, the incident occurred on Saturday, September 28, at approximately 10:51 a.m. in the vicinity of Terrace Place and Prospect Park Southwest within the 72nd Precinct. An unidentified individual entered the building through the front lobby doors and proceeded to remove gift cards belonging to an 88-year-old male resident.

The suspect fled the location, and no injuries were reported, police said.

The individual is depicted in images released by the NYPD, which are available through the Deputy Commissioner of Public Information (DCPI).

Anyone with information about the incident is urged to contact authorities as the investigation continues.
