Ocean County Couple Arrested for Dealing Drugs, Illegal Guns

TOMS RIVER, NJ—James Weissenburger and Dina Marie Weissenburger, of Lanoka Harbor, a couple from Lanoka Harbor, have been arrested and are currently being held without bail on multiple charges involving drug manufacturing, distribution, and weapons possession.

The arrests were made on July 19, and both individuals are now facing serious allegations as detailed by the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office.

James Weissenburger has been charged with manufacturing, distributing, or dispensing less than one ounce of methamphetamine, possession of Schedule I to IV controlled substances, and multiple weapons-related offenses, including possession of a silencer and an assault firearm.

Dina Marie Weissenburger faces similar charges. Her charges include manufacturing over half an ounce of methamphetamine, possession of controlled dangerous substances, and several weapons-related offenses, which mirror those of her husband. Notably, both are accused of possessing illegal ammunition magazines and committing a drug offense while in possession of a firearm.
