Ocean County man held without bail on violent threat and restraint charges

Toms River, NJ – A 50-year-old man identified as Guadalupe Nmn Lopez-Gonzalez was booked into the Ocean County Jail on Saturday and is being held in jail following a series of criminal charges that include threats, assault, and criminal restraint.

He faces five charges under New Jersey statutes, among them making a threat to kill (2C:12-3B), attempting to cause bodily injury (2C:12-1A(1)), and criminal restraint creating a risk of serious bodily injury (2C:13-2A). Additional counts include observing another’s intimate parts without consent (2C:14-9A) and offensive touching (2C:33-4B).

No alias or detainer information is associated with the inmate, who is recorded as married, of Hispanic origin. Police did not release details on the incident which landed him at the Ocean County jail.
