Off-Duty FDNY EMT Arrested on Theft-Related Charges

NEW YORK – On Wednesday, October 11, 2023, around 2:30 p.m., an off-duty Fire Department of New York (FDNY) employee was taken into custody within the boundaries of the 121 Precinct.

The arrested individual has been identified as Kimberly Rago, a 40-year-old FDNY Emergency Medical Technician (EMT). Rago is now facing charges including Petit Larceny and Criminal Possession of Stolen Property.

Details leading to the arrest have not been disclosed. The FDNY and relevant authorities have not yet commented on the incident.
