Ohio Lottery Bingo Ticket Delivers Six-Figure Surprise

AKRON, Ohio — A lucky customer at Firestone Mini Mart in Akron scored a $100,000 prize on a $10 Bingo 50X scratch-off ticket, Ohio Lottery officials confirmed Friday.

The winning ticket, purchased at 1459 Aster Avenue, represents the game’s second-tier prize. After federal and state withholdings, the winner will take home about $72,000.

Bingo 50X still has five $100,000 prizes unclaimed, along with two $500,000 top prizes available as of Friday. The overall odds of winning any prize on the game are 1 in 3.21, according to the Lottery.

Since 1974, the Ohio Lottery has contributed more than $33 billion to support public education across the state.

Prize claims and responsible play reminders

Lottery officials encourage players to visit www.ohiolottery.com/supportingeducation to learn more about how ticket sales benefit schools.

Players are reminded to sign the back of their tickets immediately and follow all prize claim instructions.

The winner’s name has not been released.
