A Putnam County player claimed the top prize on an Ohio Lottery Scratch-Off purchased at a Columbus Grove retailer
COLUMBUS GROVE, Ohio — A Putnam County man is celebrating a $150,000 lottery win after purchasing a Scratch-Off ticket that delivered the game’s top prize.
The lucky player won the grand prize on a $5 Aces and 8’s Scratch-Off ticket, according to the Ohio Lottery.
The winning ticket was sold at Tabler’s Drive Thru, located at 715 S. Main St. in Columbus Grove.
After required state and federal tax withholdings totaling 26.75%, the winner will receive approximately $109,875.
Lottery officials did not release additional information about the winner.
Aces and 8’s is one of the Ohio Lottery’s Scratch-Off games and, as of June 10, still had three top prizes remaining.
The Ohio Lottery said it has contributed more than $34 billion to education programs throughout the state since 1974.
