Pemberton Borough Police Seek Public’s Help in Vandalism Investigation

August 29, 2024

PEMBERTON BOROUGH, N.J. — Authorities in Pemberton Borough are seeking assistance from the public in identifying suspects responsible for a series of vandalism incidents involving green graffiti. The latest incident occurred between the evening of August 27 and the early hours of August 28, 2024, targeting multiple homes on Elizabeth Street.

The graffiti, marked with the recurring phrase “Berve 532,” has been a consistent element in these acts of vandalism. Since May 2024, similar incidents have been documented not only in Pemberton Borough but also in neighboring Pemberton Township.

Police have yet to identify any suspects and are urging residents to review any surveillance footage that might be helpful to the investigation. Those with information or video evidence are encouraged to contact PTL. Madrigal via email at emadrigal77@pembertonborough.us or by phone at 609-894-8222. Anonymous tips are welcomed.

The department continues to investigate the incidents and appreciates the community’s cooperation in addressing these acts of vandalism.
