$200K winning Cash 5 lottery ticket sold at Giant Eagle in Allegheny County

MOON TOWNSHIP, PA — One lucky Pennsylvania Lottery player just struck it big in Allegheny County, matching all five numbers in the Cash 5 with Quick Cash drawing Tuesday night to win a $200,000 jackpot prize.

The winning ticket — which hit the numbers 5, 11, 24, 33, and 41 — was sold at the Giant Eagle located at 5990 University Boulevard in Moon Township. The retailer will receive a $500 bonus for selling the jackpot-winning ticket.

The winner has not yet come forward, and officials emphasize that winners can only be identified once the ticket is claimed and validated. Under Pennsylvania Lottery rules, the main Cash 5 prize must be claimed within one year of the drawing date, and prizes from any Quick Cash component must be claimed within one year of purchase.

In addition to the jackpot winner, more than 8,100 other Cash 5 with Quick Cash tickets won prizes in the same drawing. Lottery officials urge players to check their tickets carefully and to claim any lower-tier prizes at authorized retailers.

Anyone holding a winning ticket should contact the nearest Lottery office or call 1-800-692-7481 for instructions on how to claim their prize.
