Pennsylvania player hits massive Cash 5 jackpot

Cash 5 jackpot ticket worth over $759K sold in York County

MIDDLETOWN, PA – One lucky Pennsylvania Lottery player is holding a Cash 5 with Quick Cash ticket worth $759,513 after matching all five winning numbers in Monday’s drawing, with the ticket sold at a GIANT Food Stores location in York County.

The winning numbers for the September 1 drawing were 2, 3, 5, 9, and 33. The jackpot-winning ticket was purchased at GIANT Food Stores at 3175 Cape Horn Road in Windsor Township. The retailer will receive a $5,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

Lottery officials say the winner remains unidentified until the prize is claimed and the ticket is validated. Players have one year from the drawing date to claim the main Cash 5 prize, while Quick Cash prizes must be claimed within one year of purchase.

Along with the jackpot winner, more than 21,100 other Cash 5 with Quick Cash tickets won prizes during the same drawing. Players are encouraged to check all tickets carefully and claim smaller prizes at any Lottery retailer.

The Pennsylvania Lottery also highlighted that September marks Responsible Gaming Education Month, a national initiative promoting safe and informed play. The state encourages anyone experiencing gambling-related issues to call the 24-hour confidential helpline at 1-800-GAMBLER or visit pacouncil.com for assistance by phone, text, or chat.
