Philadelphia Police Department Seeks Assistance in Identifying Looters

PHILADELPHIA, PA – The Philadelphia Police Department is actively seeking assistance from the public in identifying individuals connected to a commercial burglary and looting incident at the Rent-A-Center, located at 4322 N Broad St. The suspects, captured in video clips, were last observed fleeing the scene in a Silver Honda Minivan and a Black Chevy sedan.

The incident, details of which have been circulated in an effort to gain public assistance, involves multiple individuals whose identities remain unknown. The police department has asked citizens to exercise caution and not to approach the suspects if seen, but to contact 911 immediately.

To facilitate the ongoing investigation and encourage public involvement, the Philadelphia Police Department has established a tip line. Individuals with information related to the incident or the suspects involved can submit tips via telephone by dialing 215.686.TIPS (8477) or text a tip to the same number.

The department has not released additional details about the incident at this time, and it remains unclear when the looting took place. The investigation is ongoing, and further updates may be provided as new information becomes available.

In the meantime, the Philadelphia Police Department continues to work to ensure the safety and security of businesses and residents in the area, while also seeking to bring those responsible for the looting to justice.
