PHILADELPHIA, PA – On November 10, 2020, at about 5:50 am Saixiang Lin 61 A/F was struck be a 2009 Chevy Uplander white or silver in color. She was transported to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital by Fire Rescue in stable condition. Her condition deteriorated quickly, however, and she died from her injuries. The striking vehicle did not stop and left the area. Surveillance videos were recovered and the vehicle and driver were observed at several locations. At 5:55 am, the vehicle is observed parking at Tyson and Algon Avenues. The driver exited the vehicle, looked at the vehicle, and walked away. The driver is observed returning to his vehicle about 20 minutes later and leaving again. The driver is described as a male wearing a light-colored hooded sweatshirt, dark-colored pants, and work boots.
