Philadelphia police searching for missing 12-year-old girl

PHILADELPHIA, PA – Police are asking for the public’s help locating 12-year-old Lailaa McKenzie, who has been reported missing from her home in the city’s 5800 block of Jane Street.

Authorities said Lailaa was last seen by her mother around 1 a.m. on November 8.

She is described as 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighing approximately 115 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair.

Family and police concerned for her safety

Investigators have not released details about the clothing she was last wearing or where she may have been headed.

Police and family members are asking anyone who may have seen Lailaa or knows of her whereabouts to come forward.
