PHILADELPHIA — Police are asking for the public’s help to identify a suspect involved in an armed robbery at a deli in the 22nd District earlier this month. The incident occurred at Brothers Deli, located at 1422 West York Street, around 12:58 a.m. on November 7, according to authorities.

Surveillance footage released by the Central Detective Division shows the suspect entering the store, where they pepper sprayed the clerk before pulling out a gun and demanding cash from the register. Police say the suspect fled the scene with approximately $30 worth of quarters in a bucket.

The suspect is described as a white male dressed entirely in black clothing, with a mask covering their face and light-colored shoes. No injuries were reported during the robbery.

Detectives are actively investigating the case and have urged anyone with information to come forward. The video footage of the incident is being used as a key resource in identifying the individual.

Police have emphasized the importance of community involvement in assisting with this case. Anyone with information is asked to contact Central Detectives.
