Phone swiped from front porch in Wilkes-Barre

Wilkes-Barre, PA — Authorities responded to a theft incident on South Hancock Street on Wednesday at 4:50 PM involving the unlawful taking of a Samsung Galaxy phone.

The 29-year-old victim had ordered the phone from Wal-Mart and found it missing when she attempted to retrieve the package.

Police officers were dispatched to the scene to investigate the theft report. The investigation remains ongoing.
