Pickle Juice Pickleball Club to hold grand opening Saturday in Blackwood

BLACKWOOD, N.J. – The Pickle Juice Pickleball Club will celebrate the official grand opening of its Blackwood location Saturday with a public event featuring open play, food, and a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

The event runs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 1001 S Black Horse Pike and is free to the public. A ribbon cutting is scheduled for noon with Blackwood Mayor David Mayer in attendance.

The Blackwood facility marks the club’s second location, following its initial launch in Ventnor in 2023.

The opening celebration will include free access to courts for open play and opportunities for attendees to meet local pickleball players.

Jennifer Slobotkin, director at sobycoPR, confirmed the event will also feature music and refreshments.

Pickleball, a rapidly growing sport across the U.S., has gained popularity in New Jersey, with clubs and dedicated courts emerging in both urban and suburban areas.

The new location aims to serve the expanding South Jersey pickleball community.
