Pickup truck strikes mailboxes and flees scene in Manchester Township

MANCHESTER TWP., Pa. — The Northern York County Regional Police Department is seeking information after a hit-and-run involving a mailbox in the 600 block of Leaf Street on May 17 at 3:37 p.m.

Surveillance footage shows a gray pickup truck striking a mailbox, sending it into a neighboring mailbox and causing further damage. The driver did not stop or attempt to inform the property owners before leaving the scene.

Police are urging anyone who can identify the vehicle or driver to contact the department at 717-467-8355 or email tips@nycrpd.org. The incident is being investigated under case number 2025-022490.

No injuries were reported.

Authorities continue to investigate the property damage and are requesting assistance from the public.
