PITTSFIELD, MA — Tyrone Jones of Pittsfield has been sentenced to up to four years in state prison after pleading guilty to multiple charges stemming from a violent incident in 2023, according to the Berkshire District Attorney’s Office.

Jones pleaded guilty on December 10, 2024, to five charges related to an October 14, 2023, incident involving assault, property destruction, and theft. He was sentenced the following day.

Prosecutors said Jones assaulted a victim at a shared residence, kicked the victim’s dog, vandalized the home, and stole the victim’s car.

Jones was found not guilty of one charge of trafficking cocaine (36–100 grams) after a jury trial.

Assistant District Attorney Amy Winston prosecuted the case, and the Pittsfield Police Department led the investigation.
