Local Pizzeria Launches Fundraising Effort for Fire-Damaged Competitor

HERBERTSVILLE, NJ—Papa V’s Pizzeria owners Anthony Carannante and Lisa Hamilton have initiated a GoFundMe campaign to support their competitor, Cuzzins Pizza, which was devastated by a fire this past Saturday.

The blaze, described as a freak accident, completely destroyed the establishment, affecting the livelihood of its owner, Alfredo, and his employees.

In response to the disaster, the sibling duo is rallying the community and local businesses, including distributors and other pizzerias, to aid those affected. They aim to provide 100% of the proceeds to the staff of Cuzzins Pizza.

Carannante praised the emergency responders, including firefighters, police officers, and EMTs, for their swift action in extinguishing the fire. The campaign emphasizes community strength with the hashtag #herbertsvillestrong.
