PLAINFIELD, NJ – A Jersey Cash 5 ticket sold at a Plainfield Quick Chek is worth $224,728 after hitting all five numbers Tuesday night and claiming half of the game’s $449,453 jackpot.
The winning ticket was purchased at Quick Chek #196, located at 475 Terrill Road in Plainfield, Union County.
Tuesday’s winning Jersey Cash 5 numbers were 01, 15, 17, 29 and 30.
The Bullseye was 30 and the XTRA number was 03.
Two tickets matched all five numbers, resulting in a $224,728 prize for each.
The second jackpot-winning ticket was purchased through the Jackpocket app.
The New Jersey Lottery did not identify the holder of the Plainfield ticket in Wednesday’s announcement.
Quick Chek will receive a $2,000 bonus for selling the jackpot-winning ticket.
The drawing produced more winners beyond the two jackpot tickets.
Thirty players matched four of five numbers plus the Bullseye to win $500 each. Nine of those tickets included the XTRA option, boosting their prizes to $1,500.
With Tuesday’s jackpot claimed, the Jersey Cash 5 top prize reset to $150,000 for Wednesday’s drawing.
