DWI arrest and multiple warrant busts in Wall Township weekend sweep

WALL TOWNSHIP, NJ – Wall Township Police made a series of arrests on Saturday, October 25, following a busy stretch of investigations and motor vehicle stops that led to the detention of multiple individuals wanted on various warrants.

In the early hours of the morning, at approximately 5:10 a.m., Patrolman Trent Powers arrested Brandon Bohn-Palmer, 20, of Farmingdale, for driving while intoxicated (DWI). The arrest came after officers responded to a vehicle stopped in the roadway on State Highway 34. Bohn-Palmer was processed and released in accordance with John’s Law, which imposes strict procedures for handling intoxicated drivers.

Later in the day, Patrolman Shane Killeen arrested Joseph Leight, 32, of Jackson, at the Pine Beach Police Department on a Wall Township criminal warrant. Leight was transported to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution.

Patrolman Killeen also conducted a separate traffic stop that led to the arrest of Patricia Moore, 25, of Jackson, on a Toms River traffic warrant. Moore was processed and released after posting bail.

Additional arrests included:

  • Michael Havekost, 55, of Wall, arrested by Patrolman Kevin Wagner on a New Jersey wanted person warrant out of the Ocean County Sheriff’s Department. He was taken into custody following an investigation on State Highway 33/34 and turned over to Ocean County authorities.
  • Adrian Cuebas, 35, of Hoboken, was arrested by Patrolman Joseph Phillips on both a Bergen County warrant and a Secaucus traffic warrant during a stop on State Highway 34. Cuebas was processed and transferred to the Bergen County Sheriff’s Office.
