PHILADELPHIA, PA – A man was caught on surveillance video pulling a gun on a jewelry store employee during a heated argument inside a South Street business earlier this month, police said.
The incident occurred around 7 p.m. on December 11 at a jewelry store in the 400 block of South Street. Investigators said the suspect arrived in a gray Jeep Grand Cherokee, parked outside, and walked into the store.
Once inside, the man became involved in a dispute over a piece of jewelry. During the confrontation, he pulled out a handgun, pointed it at the employee’s head, and made verbal threats before fleeing the scene in the same vehicle.
No injuries were reported, and the suspect remains at large. Detectives are reviewing surveillance footage as the investigation continues.
