WILMERDING, PA—The Allegheny County Police Department’s Homicide Unit is currently investigating a fatal shooting that occurred in Wilmerding.

The incident was reported to County 9-1-1 at 2:13 PM today, following reports of gunfire in the 100 block of State Street.

Upon arrival, first responders discovered an adult male who had been shot. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Homicide detectives have commenced their investigation into the incident.
