Police hunt suspects who pulled guns, assaulted man in D.C.

Armed confrontation erupts after argument in Northeast D.C.

Washington, D.C. — Authorities are searching for multiple suspects who assaulted a man with a handgun during a dispute in Northeast D.C. on Friday evening, police announced Wednesday.

The incident occurred around 7:18 p.m. on April 25 in the 4900 block of Central Avenue NE. Police said the confrontation began as an argument between the suspects and the victim before escalating when the suspects pulled out firearms and attacked the individual. The suspects fled the scene following the assault.

The victim sustained a non-life-threatening laceration during the incident and was treated at the scene.
