UTICA, NY – Early this morning, Utica Police responded to Wynn Hospital following the self-report of a male gunshot victim. The incident occurred at approximately 1:00 AM.
Upon arrival, officers learned that the victim had transported himself to the hospital after sustaining non-life-threatening gunshot wounds to his arms and hip. The victim reported that the shooting took place within a residence located on the 1600 block of Neilson St.
Following this lead, Utica Police have executed several search warrants on Neilson St. as part of their ongoing investigation. Further details will be disclosed as they become available.
