Police Make Arrest in Fatal Queens Shooting

QUEENS, NY – Eric Foster, a 39-year-old resident of Queens, NY, was arrested and charged on Wednesday, for his involvement in a shooting that occurred in December 2023.

The incident, which took place in front of 117-29 143 Street in Queens, led to the death of Kenni Dunn, a 29-year-old male, and injuries to three other individuals.

On Friday, December 22, 2023, at approximately 3:15 pm, police responded to reports of a shooting at the aforementioned location.

Upon arrival, they found four males with gunshot wounds. The victims, two 29-year-olds, a 36-year-old, and a 43-year-old, were transported to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center. Dunn, one of the 29-year-olds, was pronounced dead at the hospital. The other victims’ conditions ranged from stable to critical.

Foster faces charges including murder, three counts of attempted murder, two counts of assault, and eight counts of criminal possession of a weapon. The investigation by the local police department is ongoing.
