WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Metropolitan Police Department’s Third District is actively seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect linked to multiple robbery incidents in the Northwest area. The offenses occurred across three different this month, with the suspect engaging in similar criminal behavior in each instance.
The first incident was reported as an attempted robbery on Monday, January 15, at around 8:26 p.m., in the 100 block of Rhode Island Avenue, Northwest. The following day, on Tuesday, January 16, at approximately 10:42 a.m., a robbery occurred in the 1900 block of First Street, Northwest. Another robbery was reported at the same block on Sunday, January 21, around 1:41 p.m.
In each case, the suspect is described as entering the store, brandishing a handgun, and demanding money and property before fleeing the scene on foot. These repeated and bold offenses have prompted an urgent response from the police.
