Police release lookout after man stabbed near Minnesota Avenue

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Police are investigating a stabbing that occurred just before 8 p.m. Wednesday in the 2200 block of Minnesota Avenue, Southeast, according to the Metropolitan Police Department.

Authorities are searching for a suspect described as a Black male, approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall with dark skin, last seen wearing a brown jean jacket. No further details about the victim or motive have been released at this time.

The case remains under active investigation by Sixth District officers. Police are urging anyone who recognizes the suspect or has information about the incident to contact the department at (202) 727-9099 or send tips anonymously by texting 50411.
