Police release photos of suspects in fatal Queens shooting on September 11

QUEENS, N.Y. — Authorities have released photos of suspects connected to a deadly shooting that took place in Queens on September 11, 2024, as the investigation continues.

Officers responded to a 911 call at approximately 4:33 p.m. near Humphreys Street and 27th Avenue in the 115th Precinct. Upon arrival, police found an unidentified male with a gunshot wound to the head.

EMS transported the victim to NewYork-Presbyterian Queens Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The victim was later identified as 43-year-old Carlos Solano of Forest Hills.

No arrests have been made, and police are urging anyone with information to come forward. Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
