Police Respond to Multiple Assault Incidents on Wednesday

STAFFORD, VA – The Stafford County Sheriff’s Office released its daily incident report for Thursday, detailing two assault cases that occurred on July 10.

The first incident took place at 12:16 a.m. on Pike Place. Deputy J.W. Ahern responded to a call reporting a male suspect striking a female. Upon arrival, Deputy Ahern confirmed a physical altercation had occurred. The suspect was charged with assault and battery and is being held at Rappahannock Regional Jail without bond.

Later in the day, at 4:16 p.m., Deputies C.D. Quebedeaux and X.D. Bates were dispatched to Mary Washington Primary Care at 422 Garrisonville Road. The victim reported being assaulted by a female suspect while disputing an appointment. The suspect left the scene but returned to continue the assault. She was charged with two counts of assault and battery and is being held at Rappahannock Regional Jail on a $1,000 secured bond.
