Police search for driver in fatal hit-and-run in Willingboro

WILLINGBORO TOWNSHIP, NJ — Authorities are investigating a fatal hit-and-run incident after a man was struck and killed by a vehicle on Route 130 north on Monday night.

According to the Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office and the Willingboro Township Police Department, the collision occurred between 9 p.m. and 9:20 p.m. near The Grand Marketplace, just south of Veterans Parkway. The driver of the vehicle fled the scene and has not been identified or apprehended.

The victim’s name is being withheld pending notification of his family. Law enforcement officials have not released additional details about the circumstances surrounding the crash.

The investigation is ongoing, and no arrests have been made as of Tuesday.
