REHOBOTH BEACH, Del. — Delaware State Police are searching for a suspect who allegedly robbed a WSFS Bank in Rehoboth Beach Saturday morning and escaped with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Troopers responded around 9:50 a.m. Aug. 29 to the bank at 19335 Coastal Highway, according to an online release from the Delaware State Police.
Investigators said the suspect entered the WSFS Bank and handed an employee a demand note. The employee complied, and the suspect fled on foot with the money.
Police said no weapon was involved and no injuries were reported.

Police described the suspect as a thin Black man in his 20s who was wearing tight clothing and a wig and was dressed to present as a woman during the robbery.
