Police Search for Vehicle in Double Shooting

CAMBRIDGE, MD – The Cambridge Police Department responded to a shooting incident on July 11, 2024, at the Corner Market Exxon at the intersection of Rt 16 (Church Creek Rd) and Stone Boundary Rd. The call came in at approximately 2:49 pm, reporting shots fired.

Upon their arrival, officers discovered evidence of the shooting and were informed that two victims had already been transported to the University of Maryland Shore Medical Center at Cambridge. The victims, two males aged 19 and 20 from Cambridge, sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

A white vehicle, seen speeding away from the scene, was later found with damage from the shooting. This vehicle is believed to be involved in the incident, which police are treating as a targeted shooting.

The investigation is ongoing, and the Cambridge Police Department is seeking information from the community. Anyone with information is urged to contact the police at 410-228-3333.
