Police seek suspect after home burglary on Greenbrook Drive

GREENBELT, MD – Greenbelt police are investigating a Friday evening burglary after a suspect broke into a home on the 7600 block of Greenbrook Drive and then fled before officers arrived.

Authorities said the break-in occurred shortly after 7 p.m. when the suspect entered through the back of the residence. The homeowner reported the intrusion, prompting a police response to the scene.

The suspect was described as a light-skinned male wearing a gray jacket, gray pants, black reflective shoes, a black ski mask, and a bookbag. No injuries were reported, and police have not said whether anything was taken from the property.

Detectives are continuing to investigate and urge anyone with information to contact the Greenbelt Police Department at 301-474-7200.
