Police seek suspect who exposed himself to juvenile at South Jersey Marshalls store

EVESHAM, N.J. — Authorities are investigating two separate incidents of lewdness at a Marshalls retail store in Evesham Township after a man reportedly exposed himself to multiple customers, including a juvenile.

According to a press release issued by the Evesham Police Department on Thursday, officers responded to the store located at 704 Route 73 South around 4:00 p.m. on Monday after receiving a report of a past-tense lewdness complaint. The incident in question occurred earlier that same day, around 2:00 p.m.

Store employees told police that a male suspect entered the store and exposed his genitals to several patrons. Investigators also learned that the same individual is believed to have committed a similar act at the same location approximately one week prior, during which he also exposed himself to a juvenile.

Witnesses described the suspect as an African American male in his early twenties with short hair. This description was supported by video surveillance footage that captured the man entering the store during both alleged incidents.

Investigation ongoing with surveillance footage in review

Evesham Police are currently reviewing store surveillance footage to assist in identifying the suspect. No arrests have been made as of Thursday morning, and the investigation remains active.

Anyone with information related to the incidents is urged to contact the Evesham Police Department at (856) 983-1116 or through the department’s website at www.eveshampd.org.

Officials have not released further details on whether the suspect is believed to be local or connected to any similar incidents in the region.

The Evesham Police Department has not released surveillance images to the public at this time, but stated that updates will be provided as new information becomes available.

Police are investigating two reported indecent exposure incidents at the same Marshalls location within one week.
