NEW YORK, N.Y. – The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying a man wanted in connection with an early-morning assault in Manhattan’s Flatiron District last week.
Authorities said the incident occurred around 6 a.m. Monday, January 5, in front of 184 Fifth Avenue, within the 13th Precinct. An unidentified man allegedly approached a 66-year-old male and punched him in the face before fleeing eastbound on 22nd Street. The victim refused medical attention at the scene.

Investigators continue to search for the individual as the assault probe remains ongoing.
