Police Seek Suspects After Business Owner Shot In Daylight Armed Heist in D.C

WASHINGTON, DC – A violent armed robbery coupled with a shooting at a Northwest D.C. business has triggered an intensive search for two suspects.

The harrowing incident unfolded on March 27, around 2:57 p.m., on the 5100 block of Georgia Avenue, Northwest. Two armed assailants burst into the establishment, aggressively demanding money and property from those inside. Despite the victims’ compliance, one of the suspects resorted to gunfire, resulting in severe injuries to an individual who is now receiving medical care in the hospital.

To apprehend the perpetrators, the D.C. Metro Police Department has secured surveillance footage showcasing the suspects.
