Police seeking subway creep who hugged and kiss 8-year-old in Brooklyn

NEW YORK, NY – Detectives with Brooklyn’s 71st Precinct are searching for a suspect who approached a random young child, then hugged and kissed her inside the President Street subway station last Thursday.

Police are asking the public to assist in identifying the male suspect to be charged with endangering the welfare of child.

NYPD officers responded to the scene shortly after 6 am on the subway platform inside the President Street subway station.

Detectives said an 8-year-old female was with her 15-year-old brother when an unknown male approached her.

“The individual then hugged the female, kissed her on the nose & hand, and patted her on the head before fleeing up an escalator and out of the subway station,” detectives said in their report. “The child was not injured as a result of this incident.”

No arrests have been made.
