Pool Rental Out of Control; Buses Dropped Off 85 Kids in One Backyard Pool in Toms River

TOMS RIVER, NJ – Mayor Maurice Hill has largely ignored the practice of pool rentals in his community, other than passing an ordinance that has gone largely unenforced, but this weekend, Hill couldn’t hide the problem anymore.  Not quite rivaling Jackson Township’s 700 person jungle juice party, a Toms River homeowner, according to the township rented out their pool and it received busloads of children to go swimming in it.

The township’s code enforcement department’s “Quality of Life Task Force”, which some people call the “Jew Watchers” caught Jay’s bus service dropping off bus loads of children at the pool on the afternoon of July 16th.  The owner of the North Dover home was not disclosed, much like the buyer of the property over at 1810 Hinds Road, but the township said they issued a violation and there’s a court appearance scheduled for August 10th.

“The township has ordinances in place which prohibit daily rentals of houses and swimming pools in residential neighborhoods,” said Mayor Maurice Hill, who often just goes by the name of Mo. “As mayor, it is my job to enforce these ordinances and I remind our residents that any similar violations will be addressed in the same manner.”

Even the “Welcome to our OOL” sign couldn’t ward off a urinary discharge of this proportion.
