Poughkeepsie Drug Dealer Arrested After Residents Reported Activity in Spackenkill Neighborhood

Poughkeepsie, NY – Complaints from residents in a Spackenkill neighborhood led to a drug investigation that ended with the arrest of a 38-year-old man accused of selling narcotics throughout the Town of Poughkeepsie, according to the Dutchess County District Attorney’s Office.

Jason Cabone, 38, was taken into custody Wednesday after Drug Task Force agents and multiple law enforcement agencies executed a search warrant at a home on Southgate Drive in the Town of Poughkeepsie.

Investigators said the arrest followed an investigation into the distribution of narcotics and dangerous drugs in the area after residents reported suspected drug activity in their neighborhood.
