Later today, there is a possibility that residents in certain areas of Lakewood may experience a brief interruption to their electric service.

This planned outage is necessary to perform emergency work and ensure the safety and reliability of the electrical infrastructure, according to the Lakewood Police Department.

Customers residing near Towbin Ave, Oak St, Plymouth Dr, Corporate Rd W, Rt 70, and Castle Ct in Lakewood may be affected by this outage.

It is anticipated that the service interruption will occur between the hours of 1:00 PM and 7:00 PM.
