Powerball bonanza spreads $700K across New Jersey

Twelve New Jersey players win big in Christmas Eve Powerball drawing

Trenton, NJ – A dozen Powerball players across New Jersey hit big on Christmas Eve, each claiming either $50,000 or $100,000 in the December 24 drawing, according to the New Jersey Lottery.

The top prize of $100,000 was won on a ticket sold at Quick Chek #165 on Ridgedale Avenue in Cedar Knolls, Morris County. That player doubled the standard $50,000 payout by adding the Power Play feature, which multiplied the prize by two.

  • Wawa #730, 320 S Whitehorse Pike, Audubon, Camden County
  • Mi Tienda Carniceria, 88 S Washington Ave, Bergenfield, Bergen County
