Albany, NY – Twenty Powerball players across New York State each won $50,000 in Saturday’s drawing, as third-tier winning tickets were sold from Brooklyn to the Adirondacks, marking one of the broadest Powerball prize spreads in recent weeks.
The September 6 drawing delivered $1 million in total third-tier payouts to players who matched four white balls and the red Powerball — a combination that earns the $50,000 prize. Tickets were purchased in 18 different cities and towns, including multiple wins in the Bronx and Brooklyn.
