PS5 sale turns into armed robbery on West River Street

Wilkes-Barre, PA – A 21-year-old man from West Wyoming was robbed at gunpoint Sunday afternoon after arranging to sell a PlayStation 5 gaming system online, police said.

The incident unfolded around 1:08 p.m. in the 100 block of West River Street, where the victim told officers he was meeting two men to complete the sale.

Both suspects were described only as Black males of unknown age. Investigators are continuing to review the case and search for leads.
