Public Assistance Requested in Stolen Tractor Case in Morristown

MORRISTOWN, NY—The New York State Police are requesting the public’s help in locating a stolen tractor reported missing recently in Morristown. The theft involved a 2022 John Deere 790 utility tractor, equipped with a tractor mower attachment.

Authorities were notified of the incident on Thursday, July 26, when they were called to the Storage Units at the junction of State Highway 37 and State Highway 58. The tractor had been in use on the property until 5:00 PM on Wednesday, July 25. However, when the owner returned the following morning at about 8:30 AM, the tractor was missing.

The State Police are urging anyone with information about the stolen John Deere tractor to come forward and assist in the investigation. Contact can be made directly to the State Police at 315-379-0012.
